Pastor's Biography

Bo Weaver

At the age of twenty, Bo Weaver surrendered his life to Christ. Less than a year later he found himself leading a Bible study for young adults. It was here that Bo discovered his passion for teaching God’s Word. Following this Bo became involved in a Christian coffee house ministry where he led a Bible study for the many young people who were coming to Christ during the days of the Jesus Movement. Sensing that God was calling him to prepare for a life of ministry, Bo enrolled at Christ for The Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas.

Upon his graduation, Bo returned to Northern Kentucky where he met his wife, Jannie. In 1981 Bo and Jannie founded Fellowship of Believers in Florence, Kentucky (Now called Seven Hills Church). From an initial group of twelve people Fellowship of Believers grew to be a congregation of more than one thousand members in the twenty-three years that Bo served as senior pastor. Having been strongly influenced by the missionary spirit of Christ for The Nations, Bo has also ministered in the Philippines, France, Grenada, Jamaica, China and India.

In 2006, Bo and Jannie sensed God leading them to start a new church, The Bridge Community Church of Northern Kentucky. Bo and Jannie reside in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, and have two daughters, Alison and Carly.
